Help with Live Streaming equipment
Football is the unofficial national sport of Tibetans and is arguably the most loved and watched sporting event within the Tibetan community. One of the most anticipated event is the Gyalyum Chenmo Memorial Gold Cup, an annual football tournament where Tibetan teams from around the world participate with much passion and enthusiasm.
This year the Gyalyum Chenmo Memorial Gold Cup was live streamed across 4500 screens around the world and the recorded match videos on our YouTube channel have received over 50k views on average. This is a marked increase in viewership since 2016 when the TNSA (Tibetan National Sports Association) first started live-streaming. The nascent team behind this venture have received so much love and encouragement from the viewers and has only fuelled our determination to deliver a better experience every year. To that end, we have built a team of passionate and dedicated individuals who bring the necessary expertise and more importantly, are eager to improve our streaming quality and overall viewing experience. We are, however, constrained by the lack of required technical gear. We have not been able to upgrade our equipment since the initial investments. Hence, we are seeking funds to purchase new equipment that will allow us to add some features like Instant replay, multiple camera angles etc. Please find below a breakdown of the funds we are seeking. We have seen tremendous growth in the quality of football in our community with a stark difference in our players’ game and attitude. We are positive that encouragement in the form of audience, both physical and online, will contribute greatly towards their continued development. Without imagination, there are no possibilities and we are on the cusp of many wonderful possibilities for the budding Tibetan football world.
